ONE of the season’s great stories will move into the 2018 AFL Grand Final today while the other will end as West Coast hosts Melbourne in a massive preliminary final.

West Coast has been beaten three times at Optus Stadium this year – by Sydney in Round 1, by Essendon in Round 14 and by Melbourne in Round 22.

However the Eagles were undermanned in that meeting with the Demons, being without Jack Darling for most of the day and Josh Kennedy entirely.

The winner today will face Collingwood in the 2018 AFL Grand Final.
